About the Journal

The journal is an international, peer-reviewed scholarly publication published under the aegis of the Jaipur Research and Educational Society (JRES), a registered society and public trust (Reg. No. COOP/2023/JAIPUR/205498). The journal is dedicated to advancing rigorous scholarship at the intersection of health, humanities, and society.

It serves as an interdisciplinary academic platform for examining health, illness, care, and wellbeing beyond biomedical and clinical frameworks. The journal encourages critical and reflective inquiry grounded in humanities-based approaches, with an emphasis on ethical reasoning, historical understanding, human experience, and socially embedded dimensions of health.

 Aim and Scope

The journal publishes high-quality, peer-reviewed research that examines health, illness, and wellbeing from interdisciplinary humanities perspectives. It focuses on ethical, cultural, historical, and communicative dimensions of health; lived experiences of patients, caregivers, healthcare workers, and communities; and critical, non-clinical analyses of health policy, inequality, access, and social justice. Clinical, experimental, and laboratory-based medical research are outside the scope of the journal.
