Aim and Scope

The journal publishes high-quality, peer-reviewed research that examines health, illness, and wellbeing from interdisciplinary humanities perspectives. It focuses on ethical, cultural, historical, and communicative dimensions of health; lived experiences of patients, caregivers, healthcare workers, and communities; and critical, non-clinical analyses of health policy, inequality, access, and social justice. Clinical, experimental, and laboratory-based medical research are outside the scope of the journal.

Areas of Manuscript Acceptance

 The journal accepts manuscripts in the following areas:
