Article Processing Charges (APC)
Journal of Health and Humanities (JHH) follows a transparent and affordable Open Access publishing model. There are no submission charges or peer-review charges. An Article Processing Charge (APC) is payable only after the manuscript has been accepted through the journal's double-blind peer-review process.
The APC covers editorial processing, plagiarism screening, peer-review management, copyediting, typesetting, DOI registration, online publication, metadata preparation, indexing support, website hosting, and long-term digital archiving.

Additional Page Charges
- Articles exceeding the prescribed page limit will be charged ₹300 per additional page for Indian authors and US$8 per additional page for international authors.
- Page count will be calculated based on the final typeset version of the accepted manuscript.
APC Waiver and Discount Policy
Journal may consider partial APC waivers or discounts in exceptional circumstances, such as authors from low-income countries, invited articles, or authors demonstrating genuine financial constraints. Requests for waivers must be submitted at the time of manuscript submission and are evaluated solely on editorial and financial criteria. Waiver decisions do not influence the editorial or peer-review process.
Payment Policy
- APC invoices are issued only after final acceptance of the manuscript.
- Payment instructions will be shared with the corresponding author via email.
- The APC is non-refundable once the article has entered the production stage (copyediting, typesetting, and DOI assignment), except in cases where publication is withdrawn by the journal due to editorial reasons.
This APC policy is effective from Volume 1, Issue 2 and is subject to periodic review by the Editorial Board.
